when computing your power needs. Add together total
wattage of all appliances to determine the kW of the
generator you need. Things to remember:

the initital start-up of the generator requires
three times the power than the actual run load
of the unit |

appliances with different setting options (ie:
hairdryer, iron) will have a wattage range that
must be taken into account |
